Research at Diego Portales University focuses on a dual strategy. This strategy implies that our scholars strive to contribute to their field of study and, at the same time, have a real impact on public matters at the local, national, and international levels. Funding mostly proceeds from external projects and funds as well as internal resources, which in 2019 reached 1.3 billion Chilean pesos (USD 2 mill, approximately).
