The innovation area at UDP presents two significant challenges. The PLAIN and LINC platforms were established to address the challenge of connecting scholars and students with the community and businesses so they can be a part of the solution to society’s real problems. The other challenge is to deliver solutions at the macro level. Therefore, these platforms conduct research and interdisciplinary work towards humanity’s great questions, the ecosystem, and future challenges of the exponential growth of the world’s population.
